IS ENGISH A MANIA?

My parents always wanted to go to England, but they were waiting so far just for a reason: they don´t know how to speak English, so they were waiting until I could manage to speak it.

In my opinion, this question is a bit difficult to answer. What I mean is that it isn´t a piece of cake. On the one hand, English could be a mania, but on the other hand not. Personally I don´t have a clear idea.

Fistly, I´m going to explain why it can be a mania. To begin with, English is a really important lenguage and everyone wants to speak it. This is because it´s like a global lenguage. What I want to say is that with English you can comunicate almost with all the people in the world. For example, if you want to have an important job, such as a politician, you really need this lenguage to speak with people in other countries. However, if you like travelling you should also speak English because if you get lost or you have to ask for something English is really useful.

Although English is a very important lenguage, it isn´t used everyday. This is because we aren´t used to speak a lot of English, we just speak it when we are in English class or if someone English is with us. But we don´t speak English in our homes because each country has its own lenguage, and if we don´t speak our own lenguages they will get lost.

So, is English a mania or not? To tell the truth I have no idea. Everyone wants to study it, but anyone speaks it unless it´s necessary.

  1. Good. Good use of connectors. Always revise for simple spelling mistakes.
